The Angry Dance filter (aka Bad Times), no CapCut

Angry Dance AI: Make the Viral Angry Dance Filter Video From One Photo

Upload one photo and Angry Dance AI turns it into about 15 seconds of vertical video of you arguing with the camera: you walk in already annoyed, jab both index fingers at the lens, slam a palm toward it and finish with one last shout in close-up. It is the same routine people post as the Angry Dance filter or the Bad Times trend, made in your browser instead of a CapCut template.

Updated Oct 28, 2026: the Angry Dance routine is in final testing and opens soon. Nothing is charged until it is live.

What Is the Angry Dance AI Filter?

The Angry Dance AI filter is a viral TikTok edit that turns one photo into a roughly 15-second vertical clip of that person arguing with the camera: finger jabs at the lens, a palm slammed toward it, a hand on the hip and a last angry shout. It is the same routine and the same song as the Bad Times trend ("BAD TIMES" by Imael Angel); from about October 19, 2026 people started calling the Bad Times photo template the Angry Dance filter. On TikTok it spreads through a CapCut template called "Angry Dance Filter" by VCap, which showed 19,886 uses on October 27, 2026. Angry Dance AI makes the same kind of clip on a website: you upload one photo, an AI video model puts you into the original clip, following every move and camera angle, and you download a 9:16 MP4 with the BAD TIMES sound on it. It is an independent fan tool, not an official TikTok or CapCut filter.

One Photo, No Filming

A single clear photo of one adult starts the clip. Nobody has to film themselves or learn the moves.

About 15 Seconds, 9:16

A vertical MP4 at 480p or 720p that uploads to TikTok, Reels or Shorts without cropping.

The Original Sound

The finished MP4 comes with the BAD TIMES sound already on it, cut to your clip and in time with the moves.

02 · The routine

The Angry Dance, Move by Move

Every Angry Dance and Bad Times clip runs through the same beats in about 15 seconds. This is the timing the maker aims for, so you know what you are getting.

01

0–2 s · The walk-in

You start a few steps back and walk toward the lens, already mid-argument with an annoyed face.

02

2–5 s · Finger jabs

Medium close-up: both index fingers jab at the camera in turn, filling the frame.

03

5–6 s · The palm slam

One open palm shoves toward the lens and briefly covers part of the frame, the shot everyone screenshots.

04

6–10 s · The rant

More pointing, a hand flapping by the face like nonstop talking, then a palms-up shrug.

05

10–12 s · The step back

Arms open, a calm look to the side, then a turn away with one hand on the hip.

06

12–15 s · The final shout

Back at the camera for one last angry yell, finger pointed at the lens, face clear in close-up.

03 · How it works

How to Make the Angry Dance Filter Video

Four steps get you from a photo to a posted Angry Dance clip. You do not need CapCut, a prompt or a video editor.

01

Add one sharp photo

Upload a waist-up or full-body photo of yourself facing the camera, or of an adult friend who said yes. One person, nothing covering the face.

02

Check the length and quality

About 15 seconds at 480p or 720p in 9:16. The credit price on the button updates with every setting.

03

Render and download

The clip plays on the page when it is done and is saved in My Creations. Download the MP4 to your phone.

04

Post it

The sound is already on the clip. Upload it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts, tag #angrydance and #badtimes, and turn on the AI-generated label.

04 · Two names

Angry Dance vs Bad Times: Same Trend, Two Names

If you searched for Bad Times AI, you are in the right place. The Angry Dance filter is the newer, smaller name for the Bad Times trend.

/01

Bad Times came first

Real people posted the angry argument rant to "BAD TIMES" from August 2026; a CapCut photo template followed around October 1.

/02

Angry Dance is the new name

From about October 19, 2026 captions started calling the same photo template the Angry Dance filter.

/03

Same song

Both use "BAD TIMES" by Imael Angel, and so does your clip here: the sound comes on the finished MP4.

/04

Same routine

Walk-in, finger jabs, palm slam, hand on hip, final shout. Longer Bad Times edits add a head-in-hands part; the Angry Dance clip is the pointing highlight.

05 · Without CapCut

Angry Dance AI vs the CapCut Template

The CapCut route means installing the app, finding the right Angry Dance template and hoping it still works this week. Here you bring a photo and a browser.

/01

No App to Install

Nothing to download, trim or keyframe. The whole thing runs in your phone or desktop browser.

/02

No Template Hunting

The Angry Dance routine is already selected, so there is no searching CapCut for the version that still works.

/03

You Are the Performer

The AI animates the whole of you through every move, body and outfit included, so it reads as you filmed on camera.

/04

Credits Back If It Breaks

A render that fails or a photo the safety check rejects puts its credits back automatically, no ticket needed.

/05

Every Clip Kept

Finished clips stay in My Creations, so you can rewatch or download them again later.

/06

Your Upload Waits

If you stop to sign in or buy credits, your photo and settings stay on the page for when you return.

06 · Before you upload

Photo Tips and What AI Still Gets Wrong

A few habits save credits and keep the joke friendly. The model is impressive, but it is not perfect.

/01

Use Your Own Face, or Ask

Upload yourself or an adult who agreed. Photos of kids, celebrities and other public figures are turned away.

/02

Solo Shot, Even Light

A single face in soft daylight works far better than a dark room, a heavy filter or a group selfie.

/03

Look Into the Lens

Side profiles, hats and shades make the face drift when the hands come close to the camera.

/04

Fast Hands Can Smear

The finger jabs and palm slam are fast and close to the lens, so expect the odd blurred hand or finger in those beats.

/05

Keep the Joke Kind

The joke lands best when the person in the clip is in on it. Show them before it reaches a wider audience.

/06

Turn On the AI Label

When TikTok, Instagram or YouTube offers an AI-generated tag, switch it on so the post follows their rules.

The Angry Dance AI filter is a viral TikTok edit that turns one photo into a roughly 15-second vertical clip of that person arguing with the camera: finger jabs at the lens, a palm slammed toward it, a hand on the hip and a final shout. Angry Dance AI makes that clip on a website from one photo, with no CapCut needed.

No. On TikTok it spreads through user-made CapCut templates, such as "Angry Dance Filter" by VCap, not an official TikTok camera effect. Angry Dance AI is an independent fan tool and is not affiliated with CapCut, TikTok, ByteDance or Imael Angel.

Yes. The Angry Dance filter is the same routine and the same song as the Bad Times trend; from about October 19, 2026 people started calling the Bad Times photo template the Angry Dance filter. Longer Bad Times edits can include an extra head-in-hands part, while the Angry Dance clip is the pointing highlight.

The song is "BAD TIMES" by Imael Angel. Your Angry Dance AI clip comes with that sound on it, cut to the length you chose and in time with the moves, so you can post it as it is.

No. You upload a photo on this page and download a finished MP4, with no app, template file or editing. CapCut is only needed if you want to use the template route instead.

Upload a clear waist-up or full-body photo in the maker at the top of the page, check the length and resolution, and press the make button. When the render finishes, download the MP4, which already has the BAD TIMES sound, and post it. The routine is in final testing and opens soon.

The full routine is about 15 seconds; shorter lengths stop after the finger jabs. You get an MP4 in 9:16 portrait at 480p or 720p, sized for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Each clip costs credits, and the exact number for your model, resolution and length is printed on the button before you start. Credit packs start at $9.99 for 10 credits and monthly plans at $29.90 for 100 credits; pack credits never expire. Paid downloads carry no site watermark.

No. New accounts start with zero credits, and every render is paid with credits from a pack or plan. You see the price before anything is charged, and a failed render costs nothing.

A pet preset that keeps paws as paws is coming soon; the person version opens first. See the Angry Dance for pets page for photo tips and the launch status.

One adult, waist-up or full-body, facing the camera in even light, with nothing covering the face. The hands come right up to the lens in this routine, so a sharp face keeps the clip looking like you.

Fast finger jabs close to the lens are hard for today's video models, so the odd blurred finger can happen; a sharper, front-facing photo helps most. When a render fails or the safety check declines a photo, its credits return to your balance automatically.

No. Only upload yourself or an adult who gave permission, and you must be 18 or older. Photos of minors, celebrities, athletes or anything meant to deceive or harass are not allowed under our Terms of Service.
